Cheated

I can honestly say non-alcoholic beer is the strangest drink I've ever had. Whilst it tastes like beer it is clearly missing something. I felt cheated as I drank it but wondered if it would have a placebo effect, to make you think you were having a 'real' beer. It didn't, it just made me really bloated and frustrated. It's like having a hot dog without the sausage. The roll is tasty with the ketchup, mustard and onions but it's clearly missing the sausage. From now on I will keep the faux beers for special occasions to save myself from further frustration.
