3 weeks in and I would like to say it's getting easier but it really isn't. The thought of cold, refreshing beer is never far away. How do I make the thoughts go away? By repeatedly punching myself in the face until the thoughts disappear.
Seriously though, the weekend was tough. I was grumpy and very snappy. Beer was wanted but I couldn't have it. Oh beer, how I miss you :(
On a plus note I do feel better for giving up alcohol. I have more energy and feel generally better in myself.
Anyone out there thinking of joining me? Go on, give up the drink for a couple of weeks, a month or even a year. You will even get a mention in my blog. You lucky things.
